ATLANTA, GA (March 16, 2009) – When a runaway SUV crashed into the front of the newly opened Dunwoody SOHO HERO Business and Meeting Center in north Atlanta on February 26, owner Paul Shilling took a potentially ‘damaging’ business situation and turned it around to his advantage.
While many retail business operators would have been devastated facing the aftermath and clean-up of a vehicle lodged in the front entrance of their retail storefront, Shilling took the situation in stride. After arriving at the store the morning of the crash and learning that the driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured and that his manager was safe, Shilling had an interesting but natural first reaction. “I thought to myself – wow - now this customer really wanted a ‘drive-thru-service!” Shilling said with a slight chuckle.
